SynCure Cancer Research Foundation is authorized by the U.S. government as a 501 (c)(3) organization, a nonprofit public charity.  All donations are fully tax-deductible. Most importantly, at least 90 cents of every dollar you donate to the SynCure Cancer Research Foundation is spent directly on research and related educational programs.  SynCure was founded with a commitment to avoid bureaucracy and to keep overhead expenses as low as possible. SynCure is overseen by a six member Board of Directors.  The Chairman of the Board and President is Dr. Robert A. Holton, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL.  The Executive Director of SynCure is Dr. Michael D. Devine. A Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of distinguished cancer researchers and practicing oncologists provides guidance to SynCure's programs.  All research awards made by SynCure are reviewed and recommended by the Science Advisory Committee. SynCure is headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida with a regional office in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
