Lewis L. Metts, Ph.D., has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Taxolog, Inc. since he co-founded the company in October of 1997. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of SynCure Cancer Research Foundation, Dr. Metts is also a Director of MDS Research Foundation, a nonprofit foundation specializing in support of research. From 1983-1996, Dr. Metts was a ranking regional and global executive with Whatman PLC and Millipore Corporation, leading manufacturers of chemical separations products. Dr. Metts also has eleven years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Warner-Lambert Parke Davis Organization, as an executive and scientist. Dr. Metts received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Florida State University in 1970.
