PSS-SynCure Second Annual
Charity Golf and
Tennis Tournament

Honoring
Murray F. Brennan, MD, FACS
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
Thank You PSS, Inc. & Dan & Amy Denenberg
On September 18, 2006, PSS (Physician Sales & Service, Inc.) conducted their second annual charity golf tournament and first annual charity tennis tournament to benefit the SynCure Cancer Research Foundation. The 'sold-out' events were conducted at one of New Jersey's premier golfing and tennis venues, the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, New Jersey.

Over 100 golfers and 30 tennis enthusiasts thoroughly enjoyed a spectacular day featuring a buffet luncheon, golf and tennis, a cocktail hour and an gourmet dinner. Participants universally praised the course, the food, the club's staff and the efficient manner in which the event was conducted.

The event honored Dr. Murray F. Brennan at the prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Dr. Brennan is recognized as one of the nation's premier surgical oncologist and holds the Benno C. Schmidt in Clinical Oncology at Sloan-Kettering. He is a Director of the American Board of Surgery, Chairman of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, President of the Society of Surgical Oncology, President of the American Surgical Association (the oldest and most prestigious surgical association in the nation) and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgery of England and Scotland. A substantial portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Memorial Sloan-Kettering as a research grant in honor of Dr. Brennan.
The event co-chairs, Dan Denenberg of PSS, Steve Roman of SynCure, and Amy Dennenberg were extremely pleased with the event's individual and corporate support. Twenty-six corporations supported the tournament via donations and/or participating golfers thereby assuring the event's financial success. Planning is underway for next year's golf and tennis tournaments. In addition, Amy, Dan and Steve recognized the vital contribution of the volunteers who helped make the charity event a reality. SynCure wants to especially recognize the PSS Corporation for their dedication and commitment to helping to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
