Held Saturday, May 22, 2004 Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds Millbrook, New York

This one hundred target fun shoot was a fund-raiser in support of the SynCure Cancer Research Foundation's important research and education initiatives.
After enjoying a spectacular catered breakfast and receiving their 'goodies bags' containing an event hat, shirt and ammunition, the fifteen squads of shooters were lead to their starting stations by Sandanona's capable trappers to begin the event. The threat of rain never materialized and the day was marked by perfect shooting weather; temperature in the low 80's and sunny.

Everyone agreed that Sandanona's target-setting was up to standard; an exciting assortment of presentations that complimented the diverse nature of a magnificent course making for a challenging and exciting day-in-the-woods.
|
| The shooting portion of the event was completed in the early afternoon and everyone looked forward to a gourmet luncheon featuring salmon, sliced steak, a fabulous chicken dish and all the trimmings prepared by Slammin Sammy and his crew; their anticipation was well rewarded. |
|
After dessert was served, Steve Roman, an advisor to SynCure and the organizer of this event, made a short speech thanking both the shooters for their participation and the event sponsors, Beretta USA, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), and Taxolog, Inc., for their generous support.
