These awards are to support the research of Ph.D. students in U.S. universities. They may be awarded to students about to enter graduate school or to students already in graduate school. The grants will be for $20,000 per year for a maximum of 3 years. The primary requirement of the grant is that the student must do his or her dissertation on a topic directly relevant to the mission of SynCure. The application should identify a faculty member who agrees to supervise the student's Ph.D. research, including a supporting letter from that researcher.
